The task

The exchange needed to see the state of its own wallets and those of its counterparties in one place, to check addresses and transactions for links to risky sources, and to stay in regular contact with clients. Each of these was handled separately.

What we built

Three connected systems were developed: a tracker for balances and fund movement, an in-house AML service that breaks risk down by factor and is available over the web and in Telegram, and a bot for client messaging. The final decision on every check remains with the exchange's responsible officer.

How the data flows

Wallets and networks own addresses and counterparty addresses Tracker balances and fund movement in one view AML scoring risk factors: lists, mixers, movement patterns Officer’s decision clear, decline or request documents Separate from screening Messaging bot preparing and sending messages in Telegram Exchange clients notifications and regular contact
The diagram and the interface screenshot reproduce the logic of the system. The client's name, the addresses monitored, the volumes and the content of the checks are not disclosed. The data in the screenshot is fictional.
The interface is reproduced for illustration. Names, addresses, balances and screening results are fictional; no client data is shown.

Outcome

Watching wallets, screening counterparties and keeping in touch with clients are no longer three separate processes. The system has been running for six months.
